Grab a pair of socks and your best game face for a fun day of bowling at Aiea Bowl to help raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu.  This is a fun way to support a worth local organization while bonding with fellow HJJCC members in some friendly competition.  The theme of this years event is the MVP Bowl, so if you’re just waiting for the right event to show off your athletic ability, this is your time to shine!

When:  Sunday, August 8, 2010
Where: Aiea Bowl
Time slots still available: 9:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Players per team: 6
Minimum Fundraising Goal: $600 per team (You will be able to collect donations via an online fundraising system or bring your donations with you on the day of the event)

There is no limit on the number of teams one organization can have so the more the merrier!  We will just need to make sure we are able to raise enough money for each team we have.  If you can’t make it on the day of the event you can still help by asking friends and family members to donate!

Please reply as soon as possible if you are interested in participating so that we can reserve time slots for our team(s).  When replying for this event please include your preferred time however the time is subject to change based on availability.

Help honor the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, the Waikiki Improvement Association and the Mau Family Foundation at this years Na Mea Makamae o Waikiki event.

Where: Sheraton Waikiki, Hawaii Ballroom
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Attire: TBD (In previous years semi-formal dress attire was required)
Duties: TBD (May be similar to last year – helping to monitor silent auction items & assist with live auction)
Food: TBD (Has been provided in previous years)

Have a heart and support the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk!  Members will have the opportunity to help educate young minds by encouraging them to lead health lifestyles.  Our help is needed in the Keiki Zone Fun Fair.  We hope that you can join in on the fun and festivities and support a great cause!

When: Saturday, August 14th, 2010
Where: Kapiolani Park, location near bandstand
Time: 6:30 a.m. – Noon (need a few awesome individuals to help us set up at 5:30 a.m.)
Attire: Comfortable clothing, shoes, sunscreen. We’ll provide you with a green AHA volunteer hat, if you have your hat from last year, please let me know.
Food: We will also provide you with lunch, snacks and drinks!

Please let us know if you are willing to volunteer to support American Heart Association by July 24! Or as soon as possible!
