Yes, Christmas is just around the corner and Santa and his helpers have requested the help of the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce to spread Christmas cheer to the people of Hawaii.  Well maybe I wasn’t contacted by Santa directly but rather the Blood Bank of Hawaii who has asked for our assistance and participation in the Kalihi Business Association’s Annual Christmas Parade.  Please see detail events below.

Date: Friday, November 26, 2010

Tasks: Walk in the parade and represent the HJJCC and also help to decorate the bloodmobile (which our members will be walking alongside with BBH employees)

Arrival Time: 3:30 p.m. or no later than 4 p.m. for members who are able to help decorate the bloodmobile; no later than 5:00 p.m. for members who will just be walking in the parade

End Time: TBA (tentatively around 8 p.m. but will confirm)

Location: Meet at Kalihi Union Church (2214 N. King Street)

Parade Route: Around Kalihi area only

Special Request:  The Blood Bank of Hawaii is looking for a member who is animated, enthusiastic and a team player to wear the blood drop costume in the parade
