Happy Holidays HJJCC Members,
Our help has been requested to assist with the 2011 Sony Open Pro-Am Awards Celebration and golf tournament. If you are able to volunteer for this event please email me at Stacey.Fukuda@gmail.com by Monday, January 3, 2011. See event details below.
Date: Thursday, January 13, 2011
Volunteer Time: 4:30 – 9:30PM
Location: Hawaii Convention Center
Function: Pro-Am Awards Celebration
Attire: Dresses for women, evening aloha attire for men
Responsibilities: May include greeting guests, passing out the Pro-am awards in the lobby, giving the guests their table assignments, and ushering. Specific responsibilities will be assigned closer to the event.
Tournament Assistance: There are a variety of tasks that need to be completed between Dec. 26 – Jan. 10 in preparation for the tournament. If you are able to help with projects at Waialae Country Club prior to the tournament (for a couple days during that period for at least 4 hours a day) please call Justin George at 792-9309.

The New Year’s Ohana Festival is just around the corner. We’re looking for volunteers to help with our food booth (you’re family & friends are welcome to help too), we’ll be making the famous Kauai Flying Saucer. This is a GREAT opportunity for the Chapter to get its name out into the community as well as raise some funds for the upcoming year.
Please contact us if you’re able to assist with one or more shifts:
New Year’s Ohana Festival — 12 volunteers per shift needed (except for Shift 1, need 5 volunteers)
Date: Sunday, January 9
Shifts: Shift 1 (5am-9am), Shift 2 (9am-1pm), Shift 3 (1pm-5pm)
Location: Moili’ili Field (across from the Japanese Cultrual Center)
