Join us on Girl’s Day for a YBR presentation of Women in Leadership.  Come hear experiences from three community/business leaders as they participate in a YBR roundtable.  Here are our speakers for the event.

• Dr. Lori Ideta - Assistant Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
  • Dr. Ideta has nearly 20 years of experience in the college and university setting. She is a proud product of the public school system and is a three-time alum of the University of Hawaiʻi having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Higher Education Administration. Dr. Ideta is a first-generation college attendee and is a proud product of Hawaiʻi’s public school system.
  • Jasmine Tso – Marketing & Promotions Director for Ala Moana Center
    • Ms.Tso is responsible for the center’s overall marketing, advertising, events, and public relations initiatives.  She has over 15 years of marketing, special events and product development experience with companies including Universal Studios Hollywood, South Coast Plaza, The Walt Disney Company and Mattel Toys.  Tso’s credentials in the industry include the International Council of Shopping Center’s Certified Marketing Director designation and winning twice the industry’s highest marketing honor – the coveted MAXI Award.
    • Cheryl Kauhane Lupenui - President and CEO of YWCA Oahu
      • At age 35, she became the youngest CEO and the first of Native Hawaiian descent to be appointed. Her passion for business in a cultural context earlier led her to open a retail food establishment using locally grown, traditional Hawaiian produce, and to provide management consulting for Hawaiian businesses.
