To my fellow HJJCC members and friends,

Aloha, I am truly honored and blessed to lead this organization as the 67th President.  The HJJCC takes pride in perpetuating our Japanese Culture and also helping our members develop themselves both personally and professionally.

I would like to personally thank 66th President, Brice Ueda and his outgoing Board of Directors for all of their hard work and dedication this past year.  President (now Chairman) Ueda and his Board of Directors did an outstanding job of leading our dedicated members and volunteers in numerous cultural, professional and community related projects in which the HJJCC are proud to be a part of.  From the Cherry Blossom Festival, Goodwill Tour to Japan, Young Business Roundtable/Professional Development mixers, community service projects, Sister Japan Jaycee Hosting, and Nijikai, the HJJCC continues to give our members a chance to develop their personal skills through networking, leadership, cultural and community based projects.

My Board of Directors and I have an exciting year planned ahead with events such as community service projects, mixers, Young Business Roundtable guest speakers and a movie premier to name a few.  I personally invite all of you to come out to our events and get the most of your membership. I also welcome feedback on how we are doing so don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you very much and I look forward to meeting you all!

Sydette higuchi, 67th HJJCC President
